NZ Euthanasia bill passes second reading

Sadly the second reading of the euthanasia bill passed, 70/50. There will be further debates and discussions before the final third vote.

I see the Lord moving in hearts and he will continue to do so. At the first reading 77 members voted for the bill, some simply so they could know more about euthanasia, with some later changing their minds and voting against it. For the same reason, some voted in favour for the second reading so more discussion could be made. We are making progress.

Let’s not be discouraged, it is not over yet and the Lord will move before then!
